LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department on Wednesday said no one is facing any charges at this time after a toddler drowned in a pool in the 2300 block of 58th Street on Tuesday afternoon.

LPD explained the Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit was initially called due to the child’s age. However, LPD said there does not appear to be anything criminal in nature to investigate.
