Lufkin’s Mack scores 8; Mercury fall to Sun
PHOENIX (KTRE) - Former Lufkin Lady Panther Natasha Mack scored eight points as the Phoenix Mercury fell to the Connecticut Sun 83-72 on Monday. Mack played nearly six minutes in the first quarter. Mack made a cutting layup off an assist by Natasha Cloud for her first bucket of the game. With 20 seconds left in the quarter, Mack made a 15-foot jump shot for her second bucket of the game. Mack also gathered in two defensive rebounds, and at the end of the first quarter the Sun led the Mercury 19-17.
