Arrest made after 1 dead in carjacking incident in Sterling: Sheriff's office
STERLING, Va. (7News) — A carjacking incident left one person dead Sunday afternoon in Sterling, Virginia, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO). Officers said they responded to the 21000 block of Towncenter Plaza for a report of a carjacking. When they arrived, police determined that 54-year-old Melody Waldecker was struck by the car as the suspect of the carjacking was leaving the scene.
