Perry Schools Hires 19 New Teachers for 2024-25 School Year
Prior to the new school year starting on Friday, Perry Schools is bringing in a healthy amount of new teachers. The 2024-2025 school year for Perry will continue to be a recovery year following the January 4th tragedy. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Heartland Regional Food Business Center (RFBC) have announced the availability of more than $3.7 million in Business Builder Grants to support small, mid-sized, and diverse food and farm entrepreneurs. These grants will promote business expansion, job creation, business capacity building, and increase local products in the local market. The funding is available for local food projects in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and northwest Arkansas.

The worst part about this record-setting year is we're only 2/3rds of the way through 2024.
