Iron Hill celebrated its opening with a ceremonial first pour and ribbon cutting earlier today. The brewery and restaurant opened its doors to the public on July 13, 2024; this opening marks its 13th location in Pennsylvania and 21st overall for the concept.

Debate heating up over Reading's sidewalk cafe ordinance
READING, Pa. - It's summertime and grilling is a staple of the season. But some are raising safety concerns about the way it's being done in parts of Reading. "It creates a concern for the fire department, and it also creates a quality-of-life issue," said Charles Reed, supervisor of the property maintenance department for the City of Reading. "[It] affects the neighbors because the smoke that comes off of these grills, if you don't have air conditioning it just goes in the windows."
