A longtime Cleveland Metropolitan School District board of education member has resigned, making him the fifth board member to step down in a year's time. North Royalton Elementary named 2024 Hall of Fame School
The Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators has named North Royalton Elementary School a 2024 OAESA Hall of Fame School. The Hall of Fame School Award recognizes schools that engage faculty, students and the community to provide a quality school experience. The school staff submitted an extensive application documenting the effectiveness of their educational program in several areas. Hall of Fame Schools were selected by committees of OAESA members.
Siegal Lifelong Learning names new director of Jewish Lifelong Learning
Case Western Reserve University’s Siegal Lifelong Learning program announced Dafna Ben-Yosef as its new director of Jewish Lifelong Learning, according to a news release. Ben-Yosef earned her Master of Arts degree in bioethics from The Ohio State University in Columbus and a Ph.D. in medical sciences from the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel. She also earned her bachelor’s degree and Master of Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
