Pekin man awaits sentencing for 2021 murder
PEKIN, Ill. – A 69-year-old Pekin man convicted of fatally shooting his wife in 2021 is awaiting sentencing in September. On May 17, 2021, Tracie Turnbow, who was 59, was found with gunshot wounds and screaming for help on her neighbor’s porch near Summer and Derby Streets in Pekin. She died the next day.
