Panther Softball Score 20 Runs on Eagles
The Panorama Panther softball team had their final regular season game in Afton against the East Union Eagles, resulting in the Panthers claiming a 20-8 victory over the Eagles. Panorama would score a run in the top of the first but East Union would respond quickly and take the lead, notching in three runs of their own in the bottom of the first. This would light a fire under the Panthers, who would score six runs to take a 7-3 lead and would not look back. Panorama would score every inning, and would notch in another six runs in the final inning of the contest resulting in a 20-8 landslide victory for the Panorama Panthers.

FORT DODGE — Class 1A No. 4 ranked Remsen St. Mary’s won their baseball doubleheader over Earlham in a neutral-site game played at the Rogers Sports Complex on Monday. The Hawks faced 1-0 and 2-1 deficits early in Game 1 before scoring two runs in the third inning, three in the fourth inning and one more in the sixth come away with a 7-2 victory.
