RUSHFORD – “If you take anything away from this presentation today, it’s this: get your well tested,” Tannie Eshenaur told southeast Minnesotans earlier this summer. Eshenaur, the Water Policy Center Manager at the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), spoke to private well owners at a June Nitrate Open House – part of its education and outreach efforts related to groundwater pollution in southeast Minnesota. Teenager Airlifted to Hospital After Stabbing at Mankato Apartment, Suspect Zion Olivera Charged with Assault
An assault investigation is underway at Sibley Parkway Apartments in Mankato after an incident left a teenager with a stab wound. The Mankato Department of Public Safety reported that officers responded to the scene on July 19, where a 16-year-old male had been injured during a disturbance just before 1 a.m. According to the City of Mankato, Minnesota Government , the young man was airlifted to Mayo Clinic in Rochester to receive treatment for stab wounds to his abdomen.
