An ultramarathoner is on the brink of an epic running feat in Essex County. Chris Jaworski of Bloomfield said he has run every street in all but one of Essex County’s 22 municipalities and is currently making his way through Irvington, where he grew up and attended high school.

CRANFORD, NJ – Independence Day celebrations are just around the corner and Cranford is taking two days to celebrate the occasion with fun for all ages. LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston residents whose garbage and recycling is typically collected on Thursday and/or Friday are reminded that the schedule will be altered from Thursday, July 4 through the end of the weekend due to the Independence Day holiday. ELIZABETH, NJ - The application portal for volunteer firefighter positions has opened according to the New Jersey Civil Services Commission. Opportunities are available throughout the state, including Elizabeth. The deadline to apply is September 3. The City of Elizabeth requires all applicants to be Elizabeth residents. All opportunities require proof of residency in New Jersey.
