Tickets for Wisconsin’s massive nonconference game against the Alabama Crimson Tide are sold out, according to Wisconsin’s latest post on X.

Alabama visits Madison, Wisconsin on Sep. 14, 2024, in the Badgers’ final tuneup for the Big Ten season. The game is college football’s biggest that week and will likely play host to ESPN’s ‘College Gameday.’

The contest is the first part of a home-and-home series between the two programs. Wisconsin will visit Tuscaloosa, Alabama in Week 3 of next season — Sep. 13, 2025.

The Badgers and Crimson Tide are both in interesting positions entering the 2024 football season. Wisconsin is still in transition under new head coach Luke Fickell and offensive coordinator Phil Longo. The program has high long-term expectations, but that potential must begin to be realized on the field.

Alabama, on the other hand, just saw college football legend Nick Saban retire this offseason. It hired Kalen DeBoer over from Washington and has not skipped a beat, at least on the recruiting trail. 2024 will see a new-look Alabama for the first time in nearly two decades.

This contest at Camp Randall represents a golden opportunity for Fickell and the Badgers to notch a statement victory — a message of arrival to the rest of the sport.

The atmosphere should be raucous given the significance of the opponent, plus with tickets selling out in only two days.

Tickets for Wisconsin vs. Alabama are still available on the secondary market, as are tickets for the remainder of the Badgers’ schedule:
