PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Today will feature skies becoming partly sunny with very mild temperatures. There is a small chance of a late afternoon shower or storm, yet many will stay completely dry.

EXTENDED FORECAST: A few showers and storms will impact our area Sunday, especially during the evening, but many locations may stay dry. If it does rain, it will likely be very brief. Next week will feature on-and-off shower and storm chances, especially during the peak heating of each afternoon and early evening, but all day washouts are not expected. Temperatures will stay normal for this time of year through the end of next week. Later next weekend, it will turn warmer and more humid with highs possibly back in the 90s.
