MADISON, Wis. -- Ahead of the 2024-25 school year, the Madison Metropolitan School District will host a job fair for prospective teachers, faculty, and other staff.

The fair is set to take place Wednesday, July 31, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Holtzman Learning Center in Madison.

MMSD said in a release that it seeks to fill open roles across all departments, buildings and experience levels. Those attending will have the opportunity to connect directly with building principals, district administrators, and department heads and learn more about the wide range of opportunities available.

Some open roles include food service staff, custodians, social workers, psychologists, counselors, and secretaries. MMSD said its starting salary for teachers is $48,656, and its starting hourly wage for educational assistant staff is $23.16.

No registration to attend the fair is required, and walk-ins are welcome.
