Preseason watchlist season is rolling right along. Wisconsin football players are popping up on watchlists left and right. The latest Wisconsin Badgers to appear on a list is receiver Will Pauling.

Pauling has been listed on the Biletnikoff Award Watchlist . The Biletnikoff Award is given to the most outstanding FBS receiver, regardless of position.

Last season, Pauling recorded 74 receptions for 837 yards and six touchdowns, leading the Badgers in all three categories. Skyler Bell was second on the team in receptions with just 38. Pauling was the clear-cut No. 1 receiver on the team last year.

Pauling finished second in the Big Ten in receptions, third in receiving yards, and eighth in receiving touchdowns.

Phil Longo and the Wisconsin football coaching staff are hoping for some more balance this year. In his local media presser, head coach Luke Fickell said if Pauling ended up with 74 receptions again this year, things would not be going how they wanted.

That doesn't mean they don't want Pauling to put up big numbers, but they want some other players to step up and produce.

Pauling transferred to Wisconsin in 2023, as one of the players who followed Luke Fickell from Cincinnati.
