Cadiz Road wreck results in injuries
Three people were transferred to the hospital following a traffic accident at the intersection of Cadiz Road and Major Lane on Sunday. According to a police report, Emily Noland of Hopkinsville was traveling northbound on Major Lane before stopping at the intersection of Cadiz Road. Noland began to turn right before realizing she was supposed to make a left turn. She reportedly attempted to correct the mistake but did not notice an oncoming car.
One man injured in motorcycle accident in Greenville
GREENVILLE, KY – One person has been flown to Skyline in Nashville after being ejected from a motorcycle during a crash. According to the Greenville Police Department, a collision between a 2003 Honda motorcycle and a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado occurred a little before 4:00 pm on Friday evening at the intersection of KY 189 Bypass and Luzerne Drive. A preliminary investigation revealed that the Silverado, driven by 23-year-old James Cottrell of Greenville, was attempting to turn left onto Luzerne Drive. Police say Cottrell then turned into the travel lane of 60-year-old Mark Foster striking the motorcycle causing Foster to be ejected from the motorcycle. Foster was flown to Skyline in Nashville, while Cottrell and a juvenile passenger were uninjured.
