HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A driver was taken to the hospital after losing control of her car, with a 2-year-old passenger, and striking a home.

According to a release, Debra Williams was traveling past the intersection of Hospital Drive and lost control of her vehicle and dropped off the road, just prior to the bridge on North Main Street.

Authorities say Williams’ front bumper struck the rear porch of a home on Hanson Street. They say no one in the home was injured, nor was the passenger in the car.

MPD says Williams was transported to the hospital and, with the help of the Madisonville Fire Department, the car was removed without any additional damage done to the home.
