Coach Lutterman Reflects on Perry Softball Season
The softball season has concluded for the Jayettes. Perry was eliminated in the Regional Championship by DCG. Tina Lutterman has sent in her resignation as coach. She has also had time to reflect on her last year. “Some of our goals finish in the top half of the conference and that was one that we attained and we also wanted to finish the season with 10 wins which was more than we were able to get last year and we attained that one as well so all in all I feel like we had a great season.” She also shared some of her favorite memories from this season. “Tina Kanealy pinch hit homerun really stands out that was a big moment for her and win. I’m happy for her for that. Also, I want to point out Sydney Barkley for that great catch she had in the Regional Final that just shows that she never gave up and we were continuing to get better all the way through the season.”
Saia Expands Network with New Terminals in California and Iowa
Saia announced the opening of two new freight terminals, one in Stockton, California, and the other in Davenport, Iowa. These new terminals are part of Saia's growth strategy, which includes recent openings in Montana, New Jersey, Texas, and Utah. RRVT Lighted Bridge Closure Affecting Adel Until October
Photo belongs to the Raccoon River Valley Trail Association. The lighted bridge along the Raccoon River Valley Trail in the City of Adel is currently closed until this fall. The Raccoon River Valley Trail Association explains that the bridge, which is located on the east side of Adel, is going through rehabilitation for the next couple of months. Dallas County Conservation Director Mike Wallace tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the project is apart of the rehabilitation plan that’s been in place for the last five years to pave certain portions of the bridge. He illustrates the work that’s been done already along the bridge in Dallas County.

Iowa Department of Transportation announced that the Iowa Mobile ID system will now be available on Samsung Smart Wallet on all Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 12.0 or above.
