Lorain County Sheriff: Man shot 'multiple times,' detectives searching for suspect
CLEVELAND — Lorain County authorities are searching for a suspect after a man was injured after being shot multiple times in Elyria Township Saturday afternoon. According to the Lorain County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to calls of a man shot just before 2:15 p.m. Police say the victim was shot near the intersection of Lake Avenue and Griswold Road and was able to drive himself to a gas station on North Ridge Road where he stopped for help.

Willoughby United Methodist to hold monthly food distribution
Willoughby United Methodist Church held its monthly food distribution on July 11, according to a release, and will have one coming up this month. There was a long line of cars waiting for the distribution through the parking lot and down Spaulding Street on July 11. Lake County Treasurer Michael Zuren directed traffic and spoke to many of the individuals waiting for the distribution to begin, the release stated.
