Brock Kehler, a senior at University High School in Morgantown, has announced he will be joining the Mountaineers after he wraps up his high school career this season. As a junior, Kehler competed in the 285-pound weight class and captured his third consecutive state championship.
Campus Carry law takes effects Monday
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Officials at WVU say they are ready for the Campus Self-Defense Act that takes effect Monday. The law, deemed campus carry, allows those with a valid concealed carry license to carry on college campuses in certain areas. Gov. Jim Justice signed the bill into law in March 2023, despite backlash from college administrators throughout the state.

BUCKHANNON — The West Virginia University Center for Excellence in Disabilities (CED) is introducing a new initiative called Mind the Gap: Parent Education and Support Group. This program aims to provide guidance and assistance to families with children on the waitlist for autism evaluations or services. Parents with concerns about their child showing signs of autism spectrum disorder are also encouraged to join and gain insight.
