WVU Fall Camp preview: Running backs
It's about that time again, which is crazy because it feels like just yesterday I was writing the spring camp previews. Back then, football preparation was taking a backseat to the pending basketball coaching search. This time around, fall camp will be in the spotlight of the WVU sports world. Today we continue the position-by-position preview for preseason camp. The Mountaineers went 9-4 last season, including beating up on UNC in a bowl game that ended with Neal Brown being covered in mayonnaise. West Virginia football enters the 2024 season with significant wind in its sails, so fall camp should be particularly interesting to watch next month. Rain showers and thunderstorms start this morning
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Good Morning NCWV! We are starting off this work week with rain showers and storms hitting our area at around 9-10AM! These storms are expected to remain non severe and likely rain shower amounts are from a half inch to an inch of accumulation. High temperatures have cooled down a bit, getting down to the low to mid 80s in the lowlands and the mid 70s in the higher elevations. These rain showers and storms are expected to remain here in NCWV throughout the majority of the day, leaving the area around 10PM. There are a few chances of rainfall on Tuesday throughout the day but a majority of chances remain in the more mountainous regions as well as in the evening hours. These rain showers will continue into Wednesday in the very early morning, seeing even a few pop-up thunderstorms during that time period as well. Highs for Tuesday and Wednesday are very similar to each other, the lowlands are seeing mid to high 80s and in the higher elevations we are seeing temps reach the mid to high 70s.
