National Personality Changes Tune on WVU Based on Past Comments

Should WVU need to change quarterbacks, it won’t change the offense for Marchiol: ‘He's progressed that much’
Garrett Greene is West Virginia's starting quarterback, and we've no reason to think Nicco Marchiol isn't the backup. Yet it's the presumptive third-stringer who ensures those two quarterbacks are full-go in an offense that goes as the quarterback goes. Confused? Understood. After all, how would Ryder Burton, the transfer from...

Very hot end to August
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Last week was unseasonably cool across the Mid-Ohio Valley with afternoon highs for most of it only in the 70s. Now, that is long gone as the hot and humid weather makes a return. We will start off on the comfortable side this morning with temperatures around the low to mid-60s. Then, as the sun rises and sticks with us through the afternoon, we are going to really feel the heat. Daytime highs are expected to climb into the mid-90s. It will also become a tad bit humid during the day, but it will only push the heat index up by 1 degree compared to the actual temperature. Even though it will be hot today, the heat continues to build through the first half of the week.

Patriot senior Adi Altizer scored an unassisted goal at the 22:49 mark of the first half and South made that one goal stand up for a 1-0 victory at Erickson All-Sports Facility.

Kole Taylor made big changes this offseason
Last season, West Virginia University tight end Kole Taylor caught 33 passes for 411 yards and four touchdowns. It was a respectable season for the LSU transfer, and he provided quarterback Garrett Greene a reliable option in the short and mid-range passing game. He underwent a minor procedure that caused him to miss the spring, but tight ends coach Blaine Stewart says Taylor is coming back bigger, stronger, and better than ever. Check it out in the video above.
