SEATAC, WA — A single-vehicle collision early Sunday morning resulted in serious injuries and a lengthy road closure on I-5 near the S 178th Street overpass. At approximately 8:34 a.m., a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Gurpreet Singh, 26, of Yuba City, California, left the roadway, striking the overpass column and coming to rest in a ditch. The vehicle was totaled in the crash. Singh was transported to Harborview Medical Center with injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.

The largest tiny home festival in the region is about to roll out the welcome mat in Brighton. The Colorado Tiny House Festival will be July 12-14 at Riverdale Regional Park. “This tiny home show blends the spirit of the tiny living movement with the most up-to-date information on going tiny, simplifying your life, minimalistic living, and living greener,” according to a news release. “Unique small living structures will be spread throughout the Colorado Tiny House Festival grounds and include an assortment of professional and do-it-yourself builds including tiny homes on wheels, a 3D printed tiny home, accessory dwelling units, also known as ADUs, skoolies, converted vans, unique recreational vehicles, and more.”
