Mammoth Unbound Party in the Park Set for This Weekend

Another highlighted event that was postponed because of the storm last weekend is the Mammoth Unbound Party in the Park . It’s back on for Saturday May 11 from 3:30 pm to 6 pm.

It’s a free after hours session through the Unbound Main Park and Forest Trail park with a live DJ spinning some jams. There will also be a hike park for the groms to shred in peace.

The Unbound Terrain Parks at Mammoth are a prime example of innovation and an unconventional park skiing mindset.

With 10 different parks there’s two halfpipes, over 100 jibs, and up to 40 jumps across 100 acres of terrain. It’s composed of the Main Park, Forest Trail, Disco, Wonderland, Eagle, Transition Park, Jibs and More, Snake Run, South Park, and the Hemlocks.

Across these parks there’s features for all skill levels ranging from the XL jumps to small rollers to long kink rails and small boxes, and the Hemlocks is a pioneering big mountain playground with slightly modified natural jumps and landings.

The Unbound Parks were also home to the SuperUnknown Finals this year, where Level 1 Productions gets together a handful of hidden talents to showcase their skills and give them a platform to boost their skiing career.

It was also home to the World Quarterpipe Championships on May 3.
