    Man shot to death outside senior housing building in Harlem: police

    HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man was shot and killed outside a senior housing building in Harlem Tuesday afternoon, police said.

    The shooting happened outside Wyatt Tee Walker Senior Housing at West 118th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard around 1:40 p.m., according to the NYPD.

    The 37-year-old victim was fighting with a man before the shooting happened, police sources said. The man was fatally shot in his back, according to police.

    Some residents of the senior building were sitting outside when the shooting occurred.

    Police are looking for a suspect who was wearing black pants and a black sweatshirt.
