The ticket has proven to be a major winner, matching four out of the five main numbers—8, 9, 23, 29, and 62—and the Powerball number, which was 13. The Power Play multiplier of 2 doubled the initial $50,000 prize to a total of $100,000.
Local youth fishing program set for Saturday at Norfork National Fish Hatchery
The Dry Run Creek Academy (DRCA) will host its Rainbow Trout level class this Saturday, August 17th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Norfork National Fish Hatchery. The free program, aimed at teaching youth fly fishing skills, will take place at the pavilion behind the hatchery building. Registration opens at 8:30 AM.
