Prosecutors say they will re-try Karen Read case after mistrial is declared
The Norfolk District Attorney's Office announced that they will re-try the. case after a mistrial was declared Monday afternoon. "First, we thank the O'Keefe family for their commitment and dedication to this long process. They maintained sight of the true core of this case -- to find justice for John O'Keefe," the district attorney's office said in a statement. "The Commonwealth intends to re-try the case."

Milford’s Fourth of July Parade Set for Thursday, Fireworks at Fino Field on Friday

The parade steps off at 10am at Veterans Memorial Drive near IHOP and marches down Route 16 through downtown all the way to Draper Memorial Park. Celebrate with local marching bands, dance troops, teams, cheer squads, scouts, military groups, veterans and more. The parade will be held rain or shine. But there are no fireworks in Milford on Thursday – Milford’s Fireworks are actually on Friday July 5 at 930pm at Fino Field.

Grant recipients speak to improvements made to their businesses
In the final meeting until August, members of the council were joined by several of the recipients of the North Attleborough Business Accelerator grants. Town Manager Michael Borg invited the owners to the June 24 council meeting and gave them the floor to discuss how their businesses were doing after being granted $25,000. The grants were given a few months ago and done as a way to help businesses continue to grow.

Bridgewater's Perkins Foundry to be forged into 150 apartments plus retail and commercial
BRIDGEWATER — The iconic Perkins Foundry is slated to become a three-building complex with 150 apartments and 20,475 square feet of retail and commercial space.
