    The Mansfield Division of Police reminds travelers of the likelihood of road closures and traffic delays related to the Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival at the Ohio State Reformatory, 100 Reformatory Road.

    Olivesburg Road/Ohio 545 will be closed during the festival July 18 from 7 a.m. until July 22 a 4 a.m. There will be temporary road closures and traffic lane changes each night for egress out of the parking lots off North Main Street/Ohio 13 and on Fifth Avenue at U.S. 30. Due to the high volume of traffic, delays are expected in the area surrounding the site of the event.

    The areas expected to be the most affected by delays are

    • Ohio 13 north of Harker Street to Harrington Memorial Road;
    • Ohio 545 between Wayne Street and Piper Road;
    • East Longview Avenue between North Main Street and Olivesburg Road; and
    • U.S. 30 between U.S. 42 and North Trimble Road in both direction.

    It is recommended local motorists take an alternate route to avoid the expected traffic congestion in these areas during Inkcarceration weekend.
