MANSFIELD — Want to get to know some future All-Ohioans?

You're in luck because this edition of the Richland 200 is packed full of athletes who have the talent to take that next step.

Let's meet the athletes coming in at Nos. 81-90.

    81. Camden Boozer, Lexington

Boozer had a huge football season last year, earning second team All-Northwest District and first team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference. He led the Minutemen in tackles with 92.5, sacks with seven and tackles for loss with 14.5, a stat line that rivaled many All-Ohioans in Division III. He had a small role offensively at tight end but should get plenty of opportunities in 2024 with the weapons the Minutemen have all over the field. But defensively, they should be just fine with Boozer leading the way.

    82. Nate Dismuke, Mansfield Senior

Dismuke was underrated in 2023. He was a first team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference player after catching 31 passes for 632 yards and nine touchdowns. He also made a start at quarterback, beating Canfield by going 6-for-11 passing for 169 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 39 tackles, two tackles for loss and picked off three passes. With the Tygers losing key weapons on both sides of the ball, Dismuke is going to be one of those guys who takes advantage of a huge opportunity and might end the year as a candidate for News Journal Player of the Year. All-Ohio season incoming.

    83. Karsen Homan, Shelby

Homan lands on this list as a three-sport athlete for the Whippets. First, he was an honorable mention All-Northwest District football player last season after recording 52 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, seven sacks and a forced fumble on defense and caught five passes for 136 yards and a touchdown as a tight end. In basketball, he was a key reserve on Shelby's regional championship team, averaging 5.4 points and 5.5 rebounds while bringing energy and effort every single night. He followed that up with an honorable mention All-District 9 baseball season, hitting .273 with 18 hits, four doubles, a home run, 13 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Back for his senior year, Homan is going to be a big name in 2024-25.

    84. Brinley Barnett, Clear Fork

Barnett is a standout soccer and basketball player at Clear Fork. In soccer, she earned first team All-District and first team All-Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference after scoring 12 goals and adding seven assists. In basketball, she averaged eight points, 4.3 rebounds, two assists and 1.6 steals as the starting point guard. Not a bad year for a sophomore, but this will be a huge year for Barnett. She will be the No. 1 option in soccer and will be tasked with a bigger role in hoops. She should be up for the challenge.

    85. Sasha Bulakovski, Ontario

Bulakovski is as unselfish as they come. In soccer, she scored just two goals but handed out 19 assists which helped her earn second team All-District and second team All-MOAC. She followed that up with a state qualifying track season where she joined Audrey Mahon, Kenzie Goodlin and Arialyn Bischak on the 4x400 team that took ninth in the Division II state prelims with a 4:00.65. Had the state meet been at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium, a nine-lane track, instead of Dayton's Welcome Stadium, an eight-lane track, Bulakovski and her mates would have had a chance at All-Ohio distinction. But, that wasn't how things worked out which only lights a fire under Bulakovski to not leave it to chance in 2024-25.

    86. Annie Weaver, Ontario

Weaver had a big sophomore volleyball season last year, earning second team All-District 6 and first team All-MOAC honors. She recorded 249 kills, 21 aces, 14 blocks and 193 digs as the Warriors won their first sectional championship in 20 years and was one win from playing for a district championship. With Weaver returning alongside a solid core of players, the Warriors have a chance to make a repeat appearance in the district tournament, especially with the expanded divisions. Weaver has a chance to lead the Warriors to history.

    87. Serena Ramsey, Shelby

Ramsey is one of the most athletic athletes in all of Richland County. She made her name in basketball last season earning honorable mention All-Northwest District, honorable mention All-District 6 and second team All-MOAC honors when she scored 7.2 points and added four rebounds per game. The Whippets are going for a seventh straight MOAC championship in hoops and with Ramsey playing a major role this season, there may be no stopping them.

    88. Judah Chamberlin, Lucas/Clear Fork

Chamberlin earned first team All-District 9 and first team All-Mid-Buckeye Conference in baseball during the 2024 season with the Cubs. He hit .417 with 30 hits, five doubles, nine RBIs and 12 runs scored for one solid junior season. This year, however, he will be moving back to Clear Fork, where he started his high school career. He joins a loaded team fresh off of a district championship and should fit right in as he finishes off his career with his childhood friends.

    89. Carter Walters, Ontario

Walters earned second team All-District 9 and first team All-MOAC honors during the 2024 baseball season after he hit .387 with 24 hits, two doubles, five triples, 17 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He also went 5-0 with a 2.35 earned run average and 45 strikeouts on the mound. He will be the ace of the staff, and the Warriors are going to need him to pitch a ton of innings as new arms gain confidence.

    90. Cooper Remy, Lexington

Remy had a solid sophomore tennis season, finishing as a state qualifier in singles. He was a district runner-up after cruising to three dominant victories before falling in the finals. With two more years left, Remy will have his fair share of postseason success but it will likely be in doubles, teaming up with another solid singles player to make a deep run in the tournament.
