Rams cancelled tonight at Manson
The high school baseball and softball games scheduled between Greene County and Manson-Northwest Webster scheduled for tonight in Manson have been cancelled due to the weather. Next up on the Rams’ softball schedule is one varsity game tomorrow night (Wed.) at 6 o’clock vs. Class 1A number 4 St. Edmond (Ft. Dodge) in Jefferson at the City Field on E. Lincolnway. Wednesday’s game will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
Hawks pull away for road victory at PAC
POCAHONTAS — A five-run fourth helped propel the South Hamilton baseball team to a 10-2 victory over Pocahontas Area here Monday night. With the win, the Hawks reached .500 on the season, moving to 10-10 overall and reaching double-digit victories for the sixth time in the last eight years.
