Seattle Police arrested a man for threatening people with a knife in South Seattle on Tuesday evening. On July 2nd at 6:53 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of Rainier Avenue South for reports of a male threatening people while armed with a large kitchen knife. Man arrested in Seattle after carjacking, pursuit, multiple crashes
SEATTLE - A pursuit of a stolen and then carjacked vehicle led to multiple crashes and the arrest of two suspects, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. The incident began when Black Diamond Police attempted to stop the reported stolen vehicle, only for the driver to elude officers. King County Sheriff’s helicopter, Guardian 1, later spotted the vehicle in Covington.
Possible measles exposure at multiple locations in King County
Public Health – Seattle & King County is investigating a confirmed measles case in an adult with recent international travel. The individual was at multiple locations in Bellevue, Seattle, and Woodinville while infectious, before being diagnosed with measles. Anyone who was at these locations during the time span when the individual was there on June 27th through July 2nd may have been exposed to measles.

Rope rescue for man who rolled ATV | Fire blotter
The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 294 calls for service between June 24 and June 30, among them the following:. Commercial fire: 1:43 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters helped neighboring fire agencies with a confirmed fire at a two-story apartment building. Initial crews arrived to find heavy fire conditions and multiple occupants evacuating. Firefighters worked aggressively to combat the fire and minimize damage to surrounding units. VRFA units assisted in command operations, ventilation control, and searching for potential occupants. One pet perished in the fire, and several civilians were transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.
