Two finalists named to run Wisconsin's system of 16 public technical colleges
Two candidates are in the running to take over as president of Wisconsin's system of 16 publicly funded technical colleges, the largest higher education system in the state. The Wisconsin Technical College System Board on Tuesday announced two finalists for the presidential position: Robert Griggs and Layla Merrifield. Both have years of experience with technical college system operations, though neither have held presidential positions directly with a Wisconsin technical college.

Wisconsin high-speed pursuit, crash; driver arrested, drugs found
WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. - A Milwaukee man was arrested after a high-speed pursuit from Walworth County into Rock County that ended with a crash on Sunday, June 30. According to the Walworth County Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped a vehicle for unlawful window tint and having no front license plate. The driver initially pulled over and provided an Illinois driver's license.
