Teens keep targeting this Santa Rosa Springs house, but no one knows why

Maricopa Police Department is searching for a couple of mischievous teens caught on camera vandalizing a Santa Rosa Springs home last month.
Over many visits, the young vandals have targeted just this house, but homeowner Tina Karriker told InMaricopa she doesn’t know why .
“We have had at least seven incidents over the course of four to five weeks,” Karriker said.
Karriker suspects the same teens in the video broke her coach light and gashed a hole through her stucco with a flying river rock on different dates. They’re incidents that prompted her to get the security camera in the first place.
Cops responded to the North Rosa Drive home twice, on June 18 and June 24, according to the city’s public safety spokesperson Monica Williams.
Police reports obtained by InMaricopa state Karriker did not report the original incidents because she thought they were just kids being kids, but quickly got worried she was being targeted after her house was hit again and again.
Video footage shared with InMaricopa shows two people with shirts over their faces and heads, like a ski mask, running up to Karriker’s garage and banging on the door. One teen got heavy feet and tripped in the rocky front yard on their way out.
If cops identify the teens, they will lodge two counts of criminal damage against them, according to the police report.
“I’ve lost sleep worrying about what they’re going to do next,” Karriker said. “I shouldn’t have to sit here worrying about how much more this is going to cost me before they’re caught.”
