Kennesaw Man Charged with Trafficking Fentanyl

Wayne Favorite, 53, of Kennesaw, is accused of possessing pounds of drugs and multiple firearms on Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at 4295 Hempstead Court in Kennesaw, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

Favorite possessed about 17.5 pounds of alprazolam pills and 1,309.1 grams of marijuana, which were found in multiple bags and containers, along with scales and packaging. Also found were 7.12 pounds of THC cartridges; 8.62 pounds of THC edible gummies, which came in a large variety of mylar bags and pre-packaged for sales; 208.6 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, found in multiple bags; 100.3 grams of cocaine, found in numerous bags, along with bags and scales; 138.59 grams of fentanyl, found in numerous types of pressed pills; 224.9 grams of oxycodone pills, found in multiple bags and unmarked prescription bottles; 7.2 grams of MDMA pills; 180.2 grams of Adderall pills, found in numerous bags and unlabeled bottles; 60.8 grams of Carisoprodol pills, a muscle relaxer, found in unlabeled prescription bottles; 8.5 grams of Diazepam pills, found in an unlabeled prescription bottle; 255.6 grams of THC wax in numerous containers; and 17.9 grams of LSD, the large sheet of LSD “tabs” was approximately 1,000 doses, according to the warrant.

Favorite also possessed an Akkar Shotgun, a New England Firearms Shotgun, a Sierra Six Revolver, a Ruger LCPII, a Sarisilmaz Sar9 Pistol and an Interarms Revolver, according to the warrant.

Favorite is charged with nine counts of intent to distribute; intent to distribute marijuana - felony; trafficking mover than 28 grams; trafficking fentanyl; possession; intent to distribute diazepam; and possession of firearm/knife - during the commission of a felony - intent to distribute. He was arrested on Aug. 12 at 8 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.

Favorite remains in custody without bond.
