Havelock, NC has proven to be friendly recruiting territory for South Carolina, and the Gamecocks struck again in that part of northeast North Carolina Monday with a commitment announcement by DE Donovan Darden (6-4 215). Former Gamecock receiver Pharoh Cooper and offensive lineman Corey Robinson were also products of Havelock.
