Woman killed in Fall River pedestrian crash remembered as giving woman of God as services announced
A 67-year-old Dartmouth woman killed after being struck by a box truck on Joseph Drive in Fall River is being remembered as services have been announced. According to Gregg Miliote of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, at around noon on Wednesday, two victims, the driver of the box truck, and three others were at 214 Joseph Drive to pick up a dresser. The six individuals were all employees or volunteers for the non-profit organization known as My Brother’s Keeper, which organizes drop offs and pick-ups of donated furniture.

Traffic crash leaves vehicle on its roof in Falmouth
FALMOUTH – A traffic crash left a vehicle on its roof in Falmouth. The collision happened on West Falmouth Highway (Route 28) near Palmer Avenue about 8:10 AM Sunday. One person was extricated and transported to St. Luke’s Hospital trauma center in New Bedford. Falmouth Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Motorcyclist airlifted after crash in Mashpee
MASHPEE – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Mashpee sometime after 7 PM. The collision happened in the area of 100 Great Neck Road North. The victim was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital trauma center in New Bedford. The crash is under investigation by Mashpee Police.

BOURNE – Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free a victim from a traffic crash Friday evening. The collision happened on Bournedale Road west of Herring Pond Road around 10:20 PM.
