Over 3,000 Native Trees and Plants Added in Landmark Conservation Effort
Howard EcoWorks kicked off the spring and early summer of 2024 with major conservation efforts around Baltimore and Howard Counties. This work was largely focused on urban and underserved areas of the region. EcoWorks’ crews planted 585 native trees and shrubs along with 2,605 native perennials such as wildflowers, sedges, and ferns. These projects are restoring natural environments and habitats while tackling climate resiliency.

Temps will be in the upper 90's then will drop into the 80's once the rain starts. It will be cloudy and hot on Thursday with temps reaching the low 90's.
