IECC Highlights Dual Credit Classes
(Undated) — Local students are seeing a big impact from dual credit classes taken at Lincoln Trail College. IECC Director of Dual Credit, Megan Black, says dual credit coursework has been incredibly valuable to local high schools providing students with an opportunity to get a jumpstart on earning college credit while still enrolled in high school. According to a newly released report from Illinois Eastern Community Colleges reviewing the last six academic years of dual credit students, more than eight hundred eighty-six students have participated in dual credit courses at LTC saving more than two million dollars.
