The party doesn't have to end with fireworks on the Fourth.

The South Shore's lineup of things to do this weekend offers as much variety as ever, and this time on a larger scale.

The Levitate Music and Arts Festival returns to the Marshfield Fairgrounds for three days of indie music and '90s alternative music favorites with this year's headliner, Sublime.

If outdoor rock isn't your thing, head down to Plymouth for live performances of the mystery classic "Murder on the Orient Express" at the Priscilla Beach Theatre in Manomet.

Looking for something a little lighter to take in while visiting America's Hometown? Check out a live musical version of "Legally Blonde" at The Spire Center downtown.

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

Other ways to enjoy the weekend include a free concert in Quincy featuring a selection of patriotic classics and an open day at Hingham's Weir River Farm.

With so much to do, there's no reason to stay home this weekend.

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks as it travels from Istanbul to Western Europe. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for occupancy in 1934, but it has one fewer passenger by the next morning. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer.

This program will meet in the barnyard. Parking is available in the lot across from the studio at 140 Turkey Hill Lane. To reach the barn and barnyard, enter the “chute” directly across from the lot and follow it down to the barnyard.
