28th annual Martindale 4th of July Parade
, , Martindale residents recently enjoyed the 28th annual Fourth of July parade, with over 50 floats, food, drink and information booths, live music and fellowship. The Latham Family float led the parade, honored with the special distinction of being the only family in the parade 28 years ago. Car clubs, sports teams, elected officials, Martindale police, fire and EMS, as well as Caldwell constables and commissioners made up the multitude of colorful floats. Gary Job Corps Corrections and Security Cadets have assisted with traffic and crowd control for over 10 years.
