BELMONT COUNTY, OHIO (WTRF) – It’s festival time in Martins Ferry!

The annual Betty Zane Days began Wednesday evening at 5pm and runs through Saturday at 11pm.

Come out to Fodor Memorial Park to enjoy amusement rides, food trucks, live bands, games and fireworks on Saturday night.

There will also be a 5K run and walk, cornhole, a parade and a water hose battle, courtesy of the Martins Ferry Fire Department.

The festival celebrates Betty Zane, who was an important figure in the American Revolutionary war.

“We have several vendors here, food vendors. We have rides and festivities for the kids. People of all ages come out and enjoy their self.”

Ron Hilton – Chief 1, Martins Ferry Fire Department

If you missed out tonight’s festivities, no worries! Betty Zane Days will be back tomorrow, Friday and Saturday!
