Eda’s Italian Ice Added To ‘Ohio Ice Cream Trail’
MARYSVILLE – Did you know that July is National Ice Cream Month?. The State of Ohio did, and to celebrate the popular delicacy, Ohio launched the Ohio Ice Cream Trail in 2018, which listed businesses across the state where lovers of all things ice cream could stop in for a cold treat on a hot day…or even a cold day.
Orphaned cheetah whose best friend was a dog at Ohio zoo died
In Powell, Ohio, at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, a heartbreaking post on Facebook a few days ago announced the death of the beloved cheetah named Emmett. Emmett had been born at the zoo in 2016, but had been rejected by his mother because of her severe health complications. It had been the Wild Encounters team who provided the kit with immediate care, but once his physical condition had stabilized it had been Emmett who chose his best friend; and it was a yellow Labrador retriever puppy named Cullen. The two soon became best friends.
