Police officer suspended, accused of ‘serious’ violations

Marblehead Police Officer Michael Robert Farewell was placed on a five-day, unpaid suspension on Aug. 2, accused of falsifying records and violating department policies for use of force and tasers. He is also accused of untruthfulness and a lack of cooperation with investigations. After the five days, Farewell will be placed on paid administrative leave pending a disciplinary hearing.
