Wawa Officially Breaks Ground On First Store In Ohio With Plans For Mason Store Soon
MASON, OH -- Wawa, a privately held, family and associate-owned chain of more than 1,050 convenience retail stores currently operating in eight states and Washington, D.C., officially broke ground on its first store in Ohio located at 5308 Fields Ertel Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. The event welcomed VIP customers, state and local officials and charity partners to mark the start of construction on Wawaβs first Ohio store.

There are several local cities and townships hosting parades and festivals this week in honor of Independence Day. Here are some of those events:. Light Up Lebanon: A parade in the downtown area kicks off Lebanonβs Independence Day celebration at 4 p.m. July 3. It is following by events from 6-10 p.m. at Colonial Park West. Greater Cincinnati book store holding 'blowout' sale prior to its closing
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A Greater Cincinnati book store is holding a large sale prior to its closing. The Half Price Books location in Northgate, located on Colerain Avenue, will close its doors on July 7. The store's lease was up and an agreement could not be reached on a new deal, according to the corporate office. It opened in 2003.

RiversEdge, the entertainment amphitheater in Hamilton, will be the site of three free shows this week as the city celebrates Independence Day. Adam Helms, director of resident services for the City of Hamilton and producer of the concerts, said RiversEdge has always done a concert on July 4 with fireworks at 10 p.m., right after the music ends.
