Inmate dies in Tennessee prison, investigation underway
CLIFTON, Tenn. (WSMV) - An investigation is underway after an inmate died at a Tennessee prison on Wednesday morning, according to CoreCivic. At about 9:15 a.m. medical staff were called to respond to a medical emergency after an unresponsive inmate was found in his living area at the South Central Correctional Facility in Clifton.
