Piscataway Alum Graduates with Distinction from Clarkson University
PISCATAWAY, NJ – Administrators at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY congratulated Srihari Yamunan, a Piscataway High School alum who graduated with distinction with a bachelor of science degree in environmental engineering. Yamunan was also named a Presidential Scholar for the 2024 Spring Semester for achieving a 3.80 grade point average during the 2024 Spring Semester. In 2019, Yamunan was one of 25 students from around the world selected to participate in Nobel Week at Stockholm University in Sweden. The highly competitive Nobel Week is an international cornerstone program of the National Society of High School Scholars’ (NSHSS) and featured a live stream broadcast of the 2019 Nobel Prize awards ceremony and discussions about prize winners in physics, chemistry, and economic sciences.
