Akron native Jonny Marshall misses cut for final in 100-meter backstroke: Cleveland Olympics roundup
CLEVELAND, Ohio —Jonny Marshall will not get his chance to swim for an Olympic medal after missing the cut for the finals in the 100-meter backstroke on Sunday in Paris. Marshall, an Akron native who is swimming for Great Britain, finished eighth in his heat in the semifinals on Sunday with a time of 53.46 seconds.
Taste of the Browns tickets on sale
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Tickets for the 26th Taste of the Browns are on sale. The event, which is held at Cleveland Browns Stadium and attracts Cleveland chefs and former and current Browns, is set for 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16. It’s a benefit for Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
