Bootheel man accused of Columbia shooting with injuries is scheduled for October trial
One of three people arrested for their part in a shooting in downtown Columbia is scheduled for trial. Kalvin Johnson, 20, of Sikeston, was scheduled Monday for a jury trial to begin October 1. Johnson is charged with first-degree assault resulting in serious physical injury, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.
Man faces stealing, drug charges in Portageville after stolen motorcycle found
PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) – A man faces stealing and other charges after a motorcycle was stolen in Marston. Christopher J. Long, 46, of Marston faces of stealing – motor vehicle/watercraft/aircraft (Class D felony), tampering with motor vehicle 1st degree (Class D felony), possession of controlled substance (Class D felony) and driving while revoked/suspended (Class E felony).
