    Sioux County Sheriff’s Office seeking info after vehicle drives through cornfield

    SIOUX COUNTY, Iowa ( KCAU ) — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance with information about a silver vehicle that went through a cornfield.

    According to a release , the office began investigating on Sunday morning near Harrison Avenue, 1 mile north of Maurice.

    The release states that between the hours of 8 and 11 a.m., a silver vehicle was traveling south on Harrison Avenue when it left the road and entered the east ditch, proceeding into a cornfield.

    The vehicle allegedly backed out of the corn to the ditch, then went back into the corn field and drove through several hundred feet of standing corn before leaving the area.

    Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 712-737-3307.
