Lady Lions win five of six matches for third-place finish at Albany tournament
ALBANY – The Brownwood Lady Lions placed third in the Albany volleyball tournament, which concluded Saturday, as they won five of six matches overall. After sweeping their pool Thursday, the Lady Lions knocked off Abilene Christian, 25-20, 26-24, and defeated Albany, 25-11, 25-21, in the third place match, with the only setback Saturday coming to Breckenridge, 25-22, 25-20.
