An updated flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 9:27 p.m. in effect until 11:30 p.m. for Lamar County. "At 9:27 p.m., the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring," states the weather service.
